Director Dean DeBlois announced at the DreamWorks Animation Comic-Con 2013 panel that Cate Blanchett, Djimon Hounsou, and Kit Harington have joined the voice cast of How to Train Your Dragon 2. According to Movie Web, Blanchett is playing a vigilante trying to free enslaved dragons, while Hounsou plays a dangerous dragon hunter. Harington voices a dragon trapper who works for Hounsou’s character. They all join a cast that includes Jay Baruchel, Craig Ferguson, America Ferrera, Jonah Hill,Christopher Mintz-Plasse, T.J. Miller, Kristen Wiig, and Gerard Butler. DeBlois revealed that this sequel is set five years after the events of 2010’s How to Train Your Dragon. The sequel is scheduled to hit cinemas on June 20, next year.
