‘The Martian’ Lands in Theaters Today!

Posted on October 2, 2015 and filed under The Martian

It’s finally here! Ridley Scott’s well-received and highly anticipated sci-fi movie, The Martian, is opening in theaters nationwide (and in many international territories as well) today! Kristen Wiig portrays NASA’s spokesperson Annie Montrose, and stars alongside an A-list cast of Matt Damon, Jessica Chastain, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Jeff Daniels, Kate Mara, Sebastian Stan, Sean Bean, Donald Glover and many more. The Martian is expected to pull in around $40-45 million at 3,826 locations over the weekend, with some saying it might even have a slight chance of breaking Gravity‘s October 2013 box office record of $55.8 million.

To celebrate the release, I have added two more clips from the film, as well as the B-roll from behind the scenes. Be sure to go see The Martian – certified fresh at 93% positive reviews at Rotten Tomatoes – at the cinemas this weekend. I know I will!
