Kristen Wiig confirmed for ‘The Heart’

Posted on April 3, 2014 and filed under Rumored Projects, The Heart

Remember when Kristen Wiig was rumored to star in an action comedy from the writers of the critically acclaimed The Descendants (and now directors of The Way, Way Back as well) about two years ago? Won’t blame you if you don’t. However, The Wrap has now confirmed her participation in the project, as well as provided us with a starting date and some casting updates! Jim Rash and Nat Faxon will direct Kristen Wiig from their own script, in the movie called The Heart, about a cash-strapped woman (Kristen Wiig) who agrees to transport black market organs with a man she just met. Sam Rockwell and Allison Janney are in talks to join Wiig, with production scheduled to begin in May in North Carolina. So excited for this film – Wiig in a comedy starring-role, great directors, a strong supporting cast, what more would you want? – can’t wait to read more. What do you think of The Heart so far?

The more movies, the better. And the higher the chances she would come for a premiere outside the US again :D I’m looking forward to it
