‘Anchorman 2’ & ‘Her’ in theaters today!

Posted on December 18, 2013 and filed under Anchorman 2, Her

The day is here! Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues finally arrives in US theaters, with Her being released in limited theaters as well! The highly-anticipated sequel to the 2004 cult-comedy has the entire cast back; including Will Ferrell, Steve Carell, Paul Rudd, David Koechner and Christina Applegate; as well as tons of new stars such as Kristen Wiig, James Marsden, Meagan Good, Harrison Ford and, well, practically every other comedy star you can think of in cameo roles. The film has received positive reviews from critics, currently holding a 77% fresh rating at RottenTomatoes.com. Be sure to see it at your cinema this week!

In other news, Spike Jonze’s critically acclaimed Her will see a limited release today too. The drama centers on a lonely writer who develops an unlikely relationship with his newly purchased operating system that’s designed to meet his every need. Her‘s been nominated for Golden Globes, SAG Awards and lots of other awards, so make sure to see it now (if available at your location) or when it goes wide on January 14. Which film will you see this weekend?
