Kristen Wiig as Patty Hearst on ‘Drunk History’

Posted on June 22, 2013 and filed under Drunk History, Guest-Starring Roles

Kristen Wiig is set to guest the upcoming season of Funny or Die’s Drunk History, and we have gotten the first photos of her character! According to Entertainment Weekly, comedian Natasha Leggero gets liquored up and narrates the true tale of kidnapped heiress–turned–bank robber Patty Hearst (played by Kristen Wiig), in an August episode of the hilarious show. Check out the first photos, thanks to EW, in our photo gallery. More info on when the show will air will be posted when available.

“Kristen played it in a way that will bring light to such a dark story,” says Drunk History co-creator and host Derek Waters, adding: “When Natasha came to set, she didn’t know what was going on. We got the pretty identical set to what the SLA [the Symbionese Liberation Army, which kidnapped Hearst in 1974] had in San Francisco and she just sees Kristen Wiig talking to herself using Natasha’s drunk voice in a corner. It’s got to be the weirdest thing for them.”
