More ‘Anchorman 2’ news reports

Posted on March 3, 2013 and filed under Anchorman 2, Girl Most Likely

Steve Carrell was on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno a couple of nights ago, and talked a bit about the upcoming sequel Anchorman: The Legend Continues. “He will not evolve. He will devolve,” said Carell. “My hope with the movie was that it’s going to be exactly the same. . . . Nobody changes,” he said of his character Brick Tamland. Given that Kristen Wiig is playing his love interest in the new movie, I think it’s pretty safe to say that Brick will have to evolve. Sorry, Steve! Also, word has it Meagan Good and Dylan Baker have both joined the cast. They join Will Ferrell, Steve Carell, Paul Rudd, Christina Applegate, David Koechner, Kristen Wiig and James Marsden in the star-studded cast.

In unrelated news, I’m aware that a trailer (or rather, a promotional video with various clips) from Girl Most Likely is circling the Internet since last week. However, it clearly says that it isn’t for distribution so I can’t post the video here. I have watched it though, and I can’t wait to see more from the film!

There is one trailer in HD that is a teeny tiny bit different on youtube that doesn’t have the watermarks!
