Kristen Wiig in the July issue of Glamour UK

Posted on June 3, 2012 and filed under Gallery Updates, Media Alerts

The British edition of Glamour magazine just released their annual “Women of the year” list – and Kristen Wiig is on it! She was named their Filmmaker of the year for co-writing and starring in one of the biggest comedies of last year, Bridesmaids. A huge congrats to Kristen for the honor! A scan of her page in the magazine as well as the article itself have been added to our photo gallery and press library, respectively. I have featured a great quote, which sums up her whirlwind of a year below:

“Going to the Oscars was a major highlight this year,” says the 38-year-old New Yorker. “To hear my name and Annie’s [Mumolo, her writing partner] announced, after five years of writing and working on the film – it was surreal. Professionally, the reception of this film has allowed me opportunities I could only dream of and I am incredibly grateful. It all feels like one big highlight.”
