Video Clip of Kristen Wiig’s Farewell

Posted on May 20, 2012 and filed under Saturday Night Live

As mentioned in the previous post, last night was the final show (I guess we can see the last part of the epiode as some sort of confirmation, right?) of Kristen Wiig on Saturday Night Live. It was a tearful farewell, and I think it’s safe to say that we all had, at least, tears in our eyes. I have added the clip to our video archive, simply click on the still below to watch it. How sad are you to see Kristen leave the show?

Was so surprised to see that awesome farewell! I had a feeling that show was her last when she appeared in the first 3 sketches (that never happens) and they let her do the “Live from New York its Saturday Night”…. the farewell was so great, and definitely had me in tears. I will never hear “Ruby Tuesday” again without thinking of Kristen Wiig! :)

Kristen I’ve enjoyed all your character presentations on SNL these past 7 seasons, and will
miss your creativity on this particular show.
I wish you Good Luck & God Speed in your new endeavors. By the way you & I share the same birthday…..therefore I wish you a Happy & Healthy Birthday later this year.

    Warmest wishes,
    Mike

Will miss Kristen so much. She is very talented, she had so many different yet so natural characters, I was very sad to know about her leave. Sudeikis and Moynahan were very disappointed, as well as me. Kristen is a delight.

Oh boy, that was SO difficult to watch, I bawled my eyes out. She is (IMO) the most talented person to ever be on SNL. It was so sweet how she got to dance one final dance with the cast but it was really hard watching her dance with Bill, Andy and Jason…it was heartbreaking when she leaned her head into Bill’s shoulder and cried….and Jason..I don’t think he took it very well.
Though I know she will do more things and awesome things I can’t help but think how many wonderful characters and sketches are gone with Kristen…I’m looking foward to see all the new ones but still…SNL without Kristen doesn’t feel right at the moment! :'(

I was just in iTunes and the popularity of “She’s a Rainbow” and “Ruby Tuesday” is off the charts right now! Gee…. wonder why! :)
