69th Annual Golden Globe Awards, Live Coverage

Posted on January 15, 2012 and filed under Bridesmaids, Gallery Updates, Video Updates

In just a few hours we’ll know if Kristen Wiig will be known as a Golden Globe-winner or not. She’s nominated in the category Best Performance by an Actress in a Motion Picture, Comedy or Musical for her fantastic portrayal of Annie in Bridesmaids. Wiig is, however, facing some tough competition in her category, with experts saying that Michelle Williams is most likely to take home the statue for her role as Marilyn Monroe in My Week with Marilyn. There have been surprises at the Golden Globes before, though, so we’ll keep our fingers crossed for Kristen to get some well-deserved recognition.

Bridesmaids is also nominated in the category Best Picture, Musical or Comedy, but unfortunately (Bridesmaids was the best comedy of last year!) The Artist is practically locked for a win. Whatever the case is, we will be here live updating with all the latest news, pictures and videos throughout the show. Be sure to check back, or simply follow us on Twitter to stay updated. Kristen Wiig and Bridesmaids for the win!

Update: The first picture of Kristen Wiig on the red carpet has surfaced!

Update: The “Best Comedy Actress” award went, as expected, to Michelle Williams.

Update: The “Best Comedy Film” was won by The Artist.

Update: Kristen Wiig has continued on to the NBC/Universal after party!
