‘The Spoils Before Dying’ trailer, pictures and poster

With the premiere episode of the IFC mini-series The Spoils Before Dying drawing closer, the first trailer as well as a couple production stills and a poster have been released. Just like the series to come before it (The Spoils of Babylon), it looks hilarious and Kristen seems to be a knockout (the quote below should say it all). This time, the show tells the “epic tale of a pianist-turned-detective investigating a murder in the 1950s underground jazz scene”. The Spoils Before Dying will air three its three episodes on July 8, 9 and 10.

“I forgot how to live, how to love, how to be. I’m broken inside, left in a crippling depression. But anyway, what’s going on with you, huh? What’s up?”
– Delores O’Dell

‘A Deadly Adoption’ movie screen captures

On Saturday evening, Will Ferrell and Kristen Wiig’s Lifetime movie A Deadly Adoption premiered, and everyone seemed to tune in! Reactions flooded in through Twitter and other social media, with some getting what the duo was going for, and some not. Either way, it was a fine tribute to Lifetime’s 25th anniversary, and Wiig was great/funny/beautiful in the movie. Screen captures along with posters for A Deadly Adoption have been added to our photo gallery.

Trailers for the Lifetime movie ‘A Deadly Adoption’

Tomorrow, June 20th, Kristen Wiig is starring in the Lifetime original movie A Deadly Adoption alongside Will Ferrell. The news of the secret project was leaked earlier this Spring, which led to Will Ferrell announcing that they weren’t going forward with the film. Then, all of a sudden, billboards promoting the Lifetime event started popping up and the movie was back on. Two trailers have since appeared online, both have been added to the video archive. Be sure to watch A Deadly Adoption tomorrow night on Lifetime.

‘Ghostbusters’ starts filming today!

June 18, 2015 Ghostbusters 0 Comments

Yesterday, director Paul Feig tweeted a photo of himself holding a cup of green slime, along with the text “And … action! #slimetimestartstomorrow”, which means that Ghostbusters is starting filming in Boston today! The Boston Herald has revealed a few details about the story, saying that Wiig and McCarthy play a pair of unheralded authors who write a book positing that ghosts are real. Flash forward a few years and Wiig lands a prestigious teaching position at Columbia U. Which is pretty sweet, until her book resurfaces and she is laughed out of academia. Wiig’s character then reunites with McCarthy and the other two proton pack-packing phantom wranglers (Kate McKinnon and Leslie Jones), and she gets some sweet revenge when ghosts invade Manhattan and she and her team have to save the world.

The new Ghostbusters, like the original, takes place in New York City, even though it’s being shot in Boston. The movie is scheduled for a theatrical release on July 22, 2016. More will be reported from the set as it happens. Are you excited for this new chapter in the Ghostbusters-saga?
